TERMS + CONDITIONS Football Hub

Football Hub is operated by Football Hub ABN 12644486957
The terms and conditions set out below govern all leagues, competitions, bookings, coaching, programs and any access to Football HUB facilities. These terms and conditions must be agreed to by all customers and participants. These terms and conditions set out the full terms to which you must follow and adhere to at all times.
All transactions regarding Football Hub will be in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Football Hub respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

League/Player Registration and Payment:

On the registration of any team or player to any Football Hub league/competition, the registering member agrees to the following terms and conditions:

As the registering captain or member you agree to take full responsibility for all required team payments for the full duration of the league/competition to  Football Hub. This responsibility can be split amongst other registered team players who choose to agree and opt IN to taking responsibility of the teams financial terms and conditions by also becoming a team captain.

All league/competition seasons will run for a minimum 8 weeks (maximum 12) consecutively excluding any Christmas shutdown period, public holidays which Football Hub close on or any other enforced closure to Football Hub.

Any business closures during the competition season will result in the matches being rescheduled and played out at the end of the current league schedule, prior to any finals rounds if time and allocation allows.

All games are to be paid in full to Football Hub before the competition begins. This payment can be made via eftpos, cash or direct bank transfer in AUD dollars.

Forfeits during Football Hub Leagues/Competitions:

Team forfeits will incur the following fines and penalties during the Football Hub leagues/competitions, this is to ensure the integrity of the league and all its teams in competitions or leagues.

If a team is to cancel a game with less than 24 hours' notice, the team will be charged a $120 forfeit charge. 

$50 will go to the opposing team to cover their team's fee. 

$70 towards competition costs.


Cancellations and withdrawals from Football Hub Leagues/Competitions:

Any team wanting to cancel and withdraw their team from any Football Hub league or competition will NOT be issued a refund.  All cancellations and withdrawals from league/competitions must be submitted by writing, signed and dated.
 

Pitch Hire Bookings:

All pitch hire bookings must be paid in full prior to usage of Football Hub pitches and facilities.

Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice of the booking will not incur any fees or be refunded if prepaid in full.

Where a pitch hire booking is cancelled by giving less than 24 hours’ notice, a 50% cancellation fee will be required to be paid to Football Hub.

Pitch hires will still be required to pay the full 100% amount for ‘no-shows’ or bookings that are not attended by the booker if notice of cancellation was not received by Football Hub.
 

Coaching Programs:

On the registration of any player to any Football Hub coaching program or clinic, the registering member agrees to the following terms and conditions:

All coaching program registrations have the option to be paid in advance and in full when the booking is made, or) agree to pay the total amount in weekly instalments over the schedule of the program/clinic. Payment is non-refundable once the program starts. By registering for any Football Hub coaching program, you agree to pay the full amount for the coaching program regardless of the number of sessions you (or your child) attend.
 

Only children pre-registered in a coaching program may participate.

Children attending a free trial must be registered by their parent/guardian before participating.

Notifications of any cancelled sessions will be via Football Hub social media channels and/or direct contact with registered parents/guardians, if timings allow. In the case of unplayable weather or natural disasters, where sessions are cancelled, Football Hub will refund any sessions cancelled.

No "make-up" sessions are provided for children who do not attend the program for any reason.


No refunds are due for sessions that are not attended. If you (or your child) are unable to attend due to serious injury or illness, a hospital or specialist doctor's document must be supplied to Football Hub to assess the reasons for any potential refunds. Please note, refunds are not guaranteed and will be assessed on each individual circumstance.


Parent/Guardian Agreement for Junior Coaching Programs:

I accept full responsibility for the conduct and welfare of the player named whilst participating in any of Football Hub activities.

I agree that the player(s) and any parents/guardians relating to the player will abide by the Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct of Football Hub
I give permission for urgent medical attention to be supplied if the player is injured and a parent/guardian is not available to consent.
I understand it is my responsibility to advise Football Hub if there are medical issues that will affect the player’s ability to safely participate in any league, competitions or coaching activities.
 

All Weather Policy:

Football Hub, played on synthetic grass, is an all-weather facility. Leagues/competitions, coaching programs/clinics, bookings, and events will take place on the synthetic grass in ‘all weather’, including during rain. Only in dangerous weather will the synthetic grass courts be closed.

Football Hub played on hard court surfaces (tennis court) is subject to the weather. Events bookings and events can be postponed and rescheduled if heavy rain occurs. Notifications of any cancelled sessions will be via Football Hub social media channels and/or direct contact with registered players / parents / guardians. These sessions or games are to be rescheduled as per the terms and conditions outlined in the ‘Team /Player Registration and Payment’ section of this document.


Sessions may be cancelled at the discretion of Football Hub in the case of extreme weather (for example, lightning) or other events (matters affecting air quality).

In the event of lightning or extreme weather, in the 1st half of any scheduled league competition game, the game will be postponed and rescheduled for either the following week(s). It will be up to the teams to attend that scheduled fixture if they wish to compete for the points of the league/competition.

In the event of lightning or extreme weather during the 2nd half of a game, the game will be called off, and the score as it was when the game was called off will stand. No game called off in the 2nd half will be rescheduled.
 

Participants with Medical Conditions:

Football Hub staff do not supply and/or administer any form of medication to any person attending Football Hub facility.

If a person has any form of medical condition that is deemed serious or potentially life-threatening by a doctor, then Football Hub must be provided with a signed "approval to participate letter" from a doctor before that person can participate at Football Hub.

Football Hub is not responsible for any form of medical treatment other than emergency first aid while awaiting an Ambulance or other medical professional service for the individual. If Football Hub staff deem it necessary to call an Ambulance for any individual at Football Hub, then they will do that, and any costs associated with the Ambulance or associated medical treatment are the sole responsibility of the injured individual or guardian(s).

If Football Hub staff believe that a child attending an event organised by Football Hub is unwell, then the parent/guardian will be advised as soon as practically possible, and requested to collect the child.

Code of Conduct:


Anyone identified as being abusive and/or violent on the premises of Football Hub may be banned from entry into Football Hub.
Any illegal acts may be referred directly to the Police by Football Hub.

Kicking, throwing, or playing with any ball is not permitted in any area of the Football Hub other than on Pitches.

No climbing of fences is permitted at Football Hub. Any damage caused to the Football Hub facility by misconduct that results in repairs, all costs will be charged to the person(s) responsible.

Player/Team Conduct:

All players agree to comply with these rules:

All players are responsible for their conduct and the contact with their fellow teammates.

Referees are not to be abused at any point for any reason. Players who do will be disciplined during the game. Any further disciplinary actions are at the discretion of Football Hub management and can result in suspensions or lifetime bans.

Unacceptable Conduct includes the use of foul language, fighting, threatening behaviour, playing inebriated, entering the pitch when not involved in the game, and being abusive to staff members.

Any fighting can lead to prosecution.

All fans must not abuse other players and referees.

All teams should be ready to start 10 minutes before KO to ensure matches run on time. If you are running late, please call us and let us know.

If your opponent does not show up, you will have use of the pitch for the duration of the match; no refunds will be due in this event. Football Hub staff will try and organise a game to the best of their ability; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

If your opponent gives a forfeit notice and Football Hub contacts you, you will be able to use the pitch as allocated to your match or take up the offer of a match against ‘any other’ team that Football Hub offers. Please note that the time of that match may change; no refunds will be due in this event if the game takes place.

If a player is banned for any reason, Football Hub management will notify them of the time frame they are banned. They will NOT be able to play in any games as a result of a suspension during this time. Attending as a fan will be at the discretion of Football Hub management.

Football Hub will make a ruling on any incidents, and suspension may be necessary; this is entirely at Football Hub's full discretion.

Football Hub reserves the right to alter the rules and punish accordingly if teams or individual players are attempting to gain an unfair advantage by using an interpretation of rules set by Football Hub.

Food, Alcohol, and Smoking:

Smoking is not permitted on the premises of Football Hub

Alcohol must not be brought into Football Hub

Food and drinks may be purchased from the Football Hub office and consumed within the licensed area.

Footwear:

Players cannot use boots with steel studs or "blades" on synthetic or hard court surfaces.

Players cannot use any boots with studs on hard court surfaces. Players must wear Futsal-approved shoes - indoor, turf or trainers on hard court surfaces only.


Liability and Insurance:

All participants understand that they participate, attend, and use the facility; they do so at their own risk. Football Hub and its owners, employees or agents shall not be liable for any damage whatsoever arising from any personal injury or property loss sustained by participation or attendance at the Football Hub facility. All participants and parents assume full responsibility for all injuries and damages that occur in or about any programs or competitions on the Football Hub premises. When registering a ‘team’ in all and any Football Hub competitions, it is the sole duty and care of the registering ‘team captain’ or person(s) who register the team, to inform any players they invite to play with them under their team name in the competition of these terms and conditions. The user hereby declares any personal injuries or property loss not to be the responsibility or fault of Football Hub staff or facility


Football Hub conducts business with the Policies of Public Liability Insurance, a certificate of currency.
All persons entering the premises of Football Hub release and discharge Football Hub, its employees and agents from any claim, suit, demand, expense or cost in respect of any injury or illness arising out of or in connection with their participation in activities provided by Football Hub Pty Ltd.
 

Permitted Activities:

No commercial activities of any/form are permitted at Football Hub other than those conducted by Football Hub, unless otherwise authorised by Football Hub in writing.

Any person(s) or organisation(s) identified as conducting such activities without the written authority of Football Hub may be banned from Football Hub.
 

Consent:

I, the undersigned parent or guardian or participant, do hereby grant authority to the staff at Football Hub to render any judgement concerning medical assistance or hospital care in the event of an accident or illness during my absence.

I do hereby authorise Football Hub and its staff to utilise any and all photographs, pictures or other likeness of me or anyone assigned guardianship to me, as they deem appropriate in its promotional materials or team films.

I do hereby fully understand the terms and conditions outlined in this document and agree to all and any information outlined.
